Customer Project: Alpaca Lace in Prime Alpaca by BlueberryHill

For many knitters, summer is the season for making shawls.  Although BlueberryHill describes this as the "never-ending alpaca lace project" on her blog, we love her Alpaca Lace shawl in Galler Yarns Prime Alpaca.

BlueberryHill used a modified version of Jared Flood's Celes pattern for this shawl.

BlueberryHill has this to say about Prime Alpaca:
The yarn is a beautiful 100% superfine alpaca...  I purchased only one skein, since there is a whopping 665 yards per skein...  Because the yarn is so fine it feels very soft and light-weight, even though its footprint is really very large.  It feels and looks like an heirloom piece.
BlueberryHill picked up the skein of Prime Alpaca in Natural at Knit Purl in Portland, OR.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us, BlueberryHill!
